The Festival Series 2025 – Day 8
Day 8 saw guarantees smashed across the board here in Rozvadov across the 2-7 Triple Draw, Open Face Chinese, and the Friday Texas Turbo Madness. Both Main Event Flights saw over 100 entrants, and the Day 2 field continues to assemble. The tournament floor come Sunday afternoon should be fairly stacked for The Festival Series marquee event. Open Face Chinese
The first event of the day, the Open face Chinese (OFC), saw the first guarantee get demolished by almost double. The event offered a €10,000 guarantee but hit a whopping €19,110 shortly before registration had closed, not bad at all for a €150 event!
The tournament drew 92 total entrants, 62 of whom were unique. Spanish national Francisco Arenas missed out on the chance to win the tournament and a guaranteed min-cash of €425 when click here to find out.
Ultimately, the tournament was won by Polish national Krzysztof Kordus took down the title, and a smooth €5,000 for his efforts over the nine-hour stint at the tables.

The Main Event Numbers So Far
Here is a look at the Main Event numbers so far. As you can see, each flight has gained more total entrants as players' opportunities to qualify for Day 2 of the €550 Main Event dwindle with each ing day. The €500,000 guaranteed event is sure to see a lot of runners take to the felt today across this morning's turbo flight, 1E, and this evening's flight, 1F.

€150 2-7 Triple Draw
The 2-7 Triple Draw attracted a field of 65 total entrants, 49 of which were unique. This event saw another guaranteed prize pool eclipsed, this time by the second level!
Horst Boschen entered the field in pursuit of his third Festival title, but he couldn't find it in this event as he was eliminated early and chose not to re-enter. Kare Hallama secured yet another deep run, finishing in third place, which will further bolster his position in the overall Player of the Series rankings.
"Dagobert", a German national, was the bubble boy, finishing in tenth place. Ultimately, Ukrainian national Taras Ivasyshyn took down the title, earning a score just shy of €2,000, a very solid return considering the seven and a half hour run time and the €150 buy-in. Below are the results.
