Launch of The Festival Series

With Live Poker, Competitive Casino Games and Sports Betting

Malta / Tallinn - February 19, 2021: Today, Acroud is announcing their launch of an innovative kind of live gambling event - The Festival Series. A weeklong player meetup and celebration which combines the best live poker, casino and sports events all in one scene. The Festival will make several stops across various cities around the globe, starting in Europe.

The debut in Tallinn, Estonia from June 7-13, 2021 (COVID-permitting) will consist of an array of competitive roulette and blackjack tournaments alongside live poker tournaments and cash games. All the standard player favorites will feature inside a jam-packed 7-day schedule, with events running around the clock. A full schedule is being finalized as we speak and a tentative version can be viewed at thefestivalcom.wpengine.com.

Players will compete for immense cash prizes and bragging rights. Yet, The Festivals will also play host to celebrations and leisure activities which players can enjoy together outside the casino too. Thus, offering plenty of opportunities to really take in the city where the given event will take place.

The first stop in The Festival series will be Tallinn, Estonia with a COVID-contingency plan to move packages over to the next event if necessary. Followed by the Bratislava, Slovakia, stop, which has already been confirmed for September, 2021 and which will add competitive sports betting.  

The Festival aims to put up the latest evolution of online gambling event series, with an original take on structure and variety. Live venues like the Olympic Park Casino has already confirmed their partnership for the initial events. With more live casino partners to be announced soon.

Players also get the opportunity to enter online qualifiers and satellites through poker, sports betting and casino site partners. Like OlyBet, the online arm of Olympic Entertainment Group. There will also be live qualifiers held at Olympic Park Casino itself. Through all qualifiers, players can win all-inclusive packages to The Festival Series event for just a small buy-in or entry bet. Thus, making this an inclusive event for players of all backgrounds and playing levels.  

More details regarding online qualifiers will be released in the coming weeks on the event’s official channels. There are also plans for live coverage of the events on Twitch as well as live reporting for poker and more. This will all be confirmed at a later date.
